Introducing the new Nokia N900 - Review

The N900 or Nokia Rover (as some call it) is Nokia’s first new internet tablet that is based on Linux platform Maemo 5. It offers users a powerful and functional mix of smartphone and pocket laptop. The Nokia N900 integrates an ARM Cortex-A8 processor, up to 1GB of memory for applications and graphics acceleration OpenGL ES 2.0.

The internal memory of 32 MB is expandable through microSD cards. Among other features bear a OMAP 3430 processor at 500 MHz, 1 GB of RAM, GPS and accelerometer. The official launch should take place in October at a price not announced.



The N900 appears to be very close to the aesthetics of the Nokia N97. It features a 3.5 inch touchscreen and a sliding QWERTY keyboard, but the resolution is higher with 800 × 480. Below are the complete features of the beast.
